The summer day is there, unused and delicious. You have decided to experience some of the best in Mo I Rana! Namely a helicopter ride over the Svartisen itself.
You meet up at the airport, and you already feel the pulse and expectations increase! Imagine that Svartisen is just over 500 years old! You have never thought about that…
Once at the airport, the pilot goes through the procedures for the flight, and you get fatened. The helicopter is driven out onto the runway, starts up, and THERE… it takes off! The feeling of being lifted up is absolutely amazing! After a couple of minutes, you are already several hundred meters up, and slowly the helicopter turns towards Svartisen. The pilot tells and points. Gives you a good understanding of the area and memories for life are created. After half an hour, you are back on land, and the trip can continue.
